A cowboy lives here on the last remaining grandfathered horse property in the neighborhood. Near the end of a dirt road, tucked in the shadow of Black Mountain, it’s only a quarter mile to the trailhead: no need to trailer your horses anywhere. Two ten by ten shade structures and a 60×70 arena/turnout are ideal for two or three horses. The authentic Southwest Santa Fe home was built by a mason with solid walls of eight inch block, thick Saltillo tile, and the warmth of wood throughout. Some of the fireplace rock came out of the actual creek in Cave Creek. The claw tub and other fixtures take you back to simpler days. Friends and family can enjoy separate guest quarters with a gorgeous view of Black Mountain and towering saguaros.
